Who would've won?

Based on Kaiba's original strategy and the way the duel was playing out, if Anubis had not interrupted the duel, would Kaiba have defeated Yugi?

reply

I doubt it. The Pharoh figured out Kaiba's plan about using his own egyptian god cards against him. The Pharoh / Yugi are really good also.

I counted 2 times where Kaiba could have won by card effects alone.

Kaiba can't beat Yugi because he's an idiot.

Kaiba was using a card that wasn't real though (The Pyramid of Light), which was one Anubis made up. You can't just make up a card to help you win and call it legit. As for Blue Eyes Shining Dragon, it's debatable if Kaiba could have won on his own with just him.

If Kaiba only had Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon and no Pyramid of Light, he would've still had a chance against the Gods. Even if Yugi had an infinite-strength Obelisk (from sacrificing Ra and Slifer upon him) or Exodia (though he only had two cards of him left), remember the Shining Dragon's special ability was it could destroy any other card on the field with itself. That only relies on if Yugi had already used Monster Reborn so that he couldn't bring back any of his Gods for a single turn while Kaiba would need to save his Monster Reborn to bring back his Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon after sacrificing it.
