Biggest dissapointment in history.

In my opinion the match between Brock Lesnar and Goldberg was the biggest dissapointment in wrestling history. These two could have made such an awsome match but turned out to be so boring with no action.Anyone agree with me?

Dude, A LOT of people thought that match was terrible.

I guess you're one of the few who actually enjoyed it, sucks for you.

for the first 5 minutes all they did was stare at one another

Beware the Lord of Darkness!

I was there live to see it, do you know how pissed off I was during that match. When they were showing the preview on the screen for the match, I was wondering why it was so early. It should have been one of the final four matches. Everyone knew that both of these guys were leaving after this match. I remember that we cheered the most when Goldberg Jack Hammered Lesnar and pinned him, because the match was finally over. We also cheered when Austin stunned both of them. He really wasnt a factor in that match at all, he just stunned both of them after it.

I didnt think it was a great WrestleMania. It was my first one that I ever atteneded, and it wasnt so great. I loved the experience though. It was great to see Benoit make Triple H tap out to win the World Title. Eddie vs Angle I thought was the match of the night though. The crowd was dead up until the point when Angle kicked out of the Frog Splash, that really got us into the match. I really wanted Angle to win, but it still was a great match. RIP Eddie Guerrero

This match is simply offensive! It's one thing two guys to go out, give their all, and get no jolt out of the crowd. But when two departing superstars just refuse to deliver on one of the most-hyped matches of the card, that is just pathetic. As if "WM XX" wasn't already making some fans feel cheated, then these clowns pretend that we won't know any better. Brock Lesnar was a more-than-gifted athlete. Stone Cold redefined WWF TV and has great charisma just with his icy stare. And even Goldberg - not one of my favorites - can entertain if given the right opponent.

You know, the VHS version of "WM XX" cuts out the Tag Team Titles matches, and the Cruiserweight Championship match. None of those three were classics, but I blame the booking more than the wreslters. The point is, those 26 men tried to deliver to the fans. But two men ate up those 25 minutes with this 15-minute trainwreck!

World Wrestling Entertainment should've bit the bullet, re-inserted any of those matches, and deleted the worst match in WrestleMania history.

Goldberg is sick. the match was on par,in my opinion with Rock/austin wm 15.They kicked out of eahothers finishers. It took 2 spears and a jackhammer to beat Lesner

I never make mistakes.I thought I did once,but I was mistaken.

Way before this match happened I was hoping to see Lesnar vs Goldberg as many other fans did too. The match had a lot of potential and could have been a pretty good match but they made it below average. The first 5-6 minutes was all staredowns and tests of strengths then you finally get a couple minutes of action and that was it then it was over. I was very dissapointed in the match as well as I thought it was going to be pretty good as most thought too.

At least it will be one of those "most memorable matches at Wrestlemania" for pretty much all the wrong reasons.

One reason they didnt go there full is because if they did it would have been better than the main event.(Just like the undertaker and kane match. so they had to make it like that.

if you think the Taker/Kane match was even better then Jericho/Christian...you are at the bery least semi-dellusional,much less Eddie/Angle or HBK/Benoit/HHH. Those were 2 of the greatest matches ever performed at a Wrestlemania.
Yet,you put a match with tow of the most over pushed,no talent hacks the business has ever seen above them?
Get a clue.

Wrestlemania 20 had a shoddy lower card and great main events.
Wrestlemania 21 very shoddy main events and an awesome lower card.

I have to agree 100 percent. Growing up I idolized Goldberg. I became a WCW fan because of him. I got goosebumps everytime I witnessed his entrance. After he left WCW, wrestling became less enjoyable for me. Until the day when Lesnar came along and became an even better Goldberg than Goldberg. Here was a guy who had the same power an agility, yet better technique and charisma. His matches with Angle, Show & Taker and their sometimes comical encounters drew me back as an everyweek fan. So of course when they faced off at Wrestlemania I was as psyched as I had ever been for a match in my life. To top it all off, my girlfriend at the time was a huge Stone Cold fan. We Pay Per Viewed the event specifically for that match. I just sat their stunned at what I was seeing, like they were intentionally trying to bore us into turning it off. I know very few things ever live up to expectations, but COME ON! I know why some people settle for why it had to be that way, but that's BS in my opionion. You have a responsibilty to your fans who have supported you throughout to give us atleast your best effort, and that was PATHETIC.
