I watched it. It's a good movie.

I've just seen the movie. And if we could forget how the first movie ended this one is very, very good. I was ready to give it a 1/10 while I knew that Kotov was executed and Mitya has committed suicide. But after I watched it I can only say it's a mighty fine movie. So I'll give it a 10/10 just to mediate a bit the overall score. 4/10 is too little. In reality it should be something about 8/10.

Why Mihalkov decided to revive dead characters I don't know. If he didn't it would've been a very prominent movie.

Are you serious? You want to put this peace of garbage right next to Taegukgi and Saving private Ryan?

What Mikhalkov shoved us is not war, it's an orgy of coked up idiots. Come on, defecating from a bomber, Kremlin cadet, who doesn't even know the colour of soviet tanks and leaves trench against orders, German officer, who pretty much volunteers to be POW when Germany is winning decisively and imbecile engineer who thinks being pushed is legit flag signal. List of stupidities goes on forever.

It could pass as unintentional comedy, if he didn't use taxpayers money and didn't time release with 65 year anniversary of V-day in Europe
