KostAs?


Why was Kostos' renamed Kostas in this movie? I mean, it's one letter, what was the point? Apparently they'll be calling him Kostos in the second one though.

If I remember correctly, they called him Kostas in the second film as well. It really bugged me.

I didn't think they renamed him, I just thought they were pronouncing his name a little differently. Then again, I haven't looked at the end credits so maybe they spell it Kostas there. If they did change his name to Kostas, then that is really strange. What difference does it make? Its one letter.

Actually one letter does make a difference. In Greek, if you want to pronounce the name properly, it's Kostas (it's a nickname or rather a shorter version of Konstantinos). Since the guy in the film is supposed to be Greek, it's only proper that he should be called Kostas..
