Level of violence?

Just curious since this I've noticed foreign horror are typically way more intense than American horror movies....

It says R for disturbing images, what exactly does this mean? Bloody/ gory violence don't bother me, I'm used to like the slasher genre but lately I find I can't handle torture.

So is there any torture and what do they mean by disturbing images?

I REALLY wanna see this movie, I love fantasy/horror but I just want to know what I'm in for.

Blood, gore, dirt... but not torture, no. If that's all that can turn you off from a movie, this one is pretty much safe.

There are some violent scenes, but I think you'll agree they're fairly limited. There appears to be a stronger emphasis on the at times, frantic use of special FX. 🐭
