This movie is one of the worst horror films I have ever seen. The acting, editing, script, dialogue, are so terrible it hurts on a visceral level. I wanted to turn this off after 15 minutes but we were in bed and I couldn't bring myself to get up so I actually watched the whole thing... I could have had a more enjoyable time cleaning my ears with a Q-tip.

The prmise does sound promising, but the execution leaves everything to be desired.

I got the feeling the director loves Dario Argento, because some of the camera angles were reminiscent of Suspiria.

This movie was way too exploitative, lacking in substance and proper editing.

I barely could rate this a 3.

Sorry. I just felt that what you wrote seems to make sense, since Bernard Rose has made the movie... his scripts are usually very flawed and even though this film's premise is interesting I'm pretty sure it will be a disappointment. Don't kinda like the guy!

***SPOILERS***
Saw this movie at the Dublin Horrorthon and kinda liked it. Went to see it with some friends who were pretty freaked by the name but I found it to be imensely creepy when at the start the three women were killing Boris's impregnated child, it just felt so wrong!!! And the camera made it feel a littel more real, eventhough the crucifxion scene was over the top and the torture of the playboy model and her boyfriend were kinda exaggerated they were still somewhat unsettling especially the tattooing around the mouth.
So I guess there is plenty of scope for underappreciating the movie but in general it didn't suck as much as you say!

They should take the parts that work and redo it with better actors and dialog.
