How is this post even remotely necessary? You bring up no point of topic and offer only pseudo witty knocks at movies that succeed where they meant to succeed.
um.... excuse me. have you seen the movie yet? NO! it hasnt even came to theaters yet! so let me just say..... you are very closed minded and very negative! just because Mike Vogel is in it (great actor, you are probley just jealous) you asume that this movie is going to blow?! you cant even make a statement like that until you have actually seen the movie! i personaly love the movie "Grind" and i love Mike Vogel, and i am going to go see this movie on opening night because i think it looks awesome! so stop wasting your time making negative comments like this when you dont even have the evidence to prove that this movie blows! thankyou!
hey now... let's not start getting mad at eachother.
The movie hasn't come out yet, so there's no chance of anybody batting 100% on how good or bad it's gonna be. So, let's all stop that crap right here and now, ok?
i think what the original poster is trying to say is this: there are a lot of movies out there that don't exactly become timeless classics. Grind, Rollerball, Biker Boyz, to name a few. That doesn't mean these movies all sucked. IN MY OPINION they were horribly cheesy and i want those hours of my life back, but some people actually liked them. Besides, in North America's society of uber short attention spans, crappy movies like this are in dire need! Like anyone 5 years down the road is still going to laugh at a joke from Grind as if it were fresh!
Whether we like it or not, these B-list movies-of-the-moment are here to stay, and their production is not showing any signs of slowing down. Oh well! Just roll with it. If you don't like these movies, don't watch them, and STFU about them!
