Loved every second of it...

Was it cheezy? Yes
Was the writing suspect? Absolutely
Was there sub-par acting? You better believe it
Was it 100% predictable? Uh-Huh
Was it a good movie? Yep

People that criticize this movie apparently don't understand the appeal. It is not like this is supposed to be an oscar-worthy film. It is supposed to be fun. And it was. The racing sequences were shot very well with the exception of the errors in stadiums. It was primarily shot at 3 stadiums and all three were used for every race. That could be changed. But, other than that, I thought it was great. Everyone knew going into the Las Vegas race what was going to happen. It isn't like this movie is supposed to have 20 twists and turns to keep you guessing. I would have liked to seen more of Kevin Windham, Chad Reed and Ricky Carmichal and less of Tyler Evans. Tyler already gives the sport a bad image as it is. But, all in all, this movie was fun. People that criticize it obviously don't see its purpose.

"Oh, that acting was terrible."

Give me a freakin break. What did you expect, Oscar nominations for the entire cast???

I didn't really even see it as "fun." It was like watching a 75 miute soap opera with racing bikes. "Oh, I'm mad because you won't take responsibility for yourself!" Slam door, insert pouty "separation montage" to bad music. Bleh.
