how does this director keep getting work?

really! look at his IMDB page ( http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0102434/ ) . apparently he's pretty good with stunts...but when you look at his film track record as a director someone should remove his eyes so he can never touch a camera again. wtf! how does this man have more movies made with more studio backing than DARREN ARRONOFSKY! how does that happen?!?!
