Not Clear About....

Okay, no one else has asked this so maybe I just missed some things.

1.) When Dekker is questioning Hume about the missing money, he says so you forged Callo's signature, then gave him the money because you felt he got a raw deal from the bridge incident. What??? Hume hated Callo because he testified against fellow cops. Didn't Hume forge Callo's name to frame him, then give the money to Lorenz/York?

2.) Final scene at the airport. Dekker asks Conners who has his toe tag on at the morgue, and Conners says, well, Curtis won't be bothering anyone anymore. So the white guy Conners left to die upstairs in the explosion was Curtis, the brother of the dead (black) Curtis from the bridge?? And the white Curtis is who Lorenz was posing as, and how did the police even first suspect the brother of the slain Curtis? (And it isn't impossible, by sort of odd that two brothers are both different races.)

I watched and rewatched those scenes, even using subtitles, and still am confused. : o

1) Yes. Hume helped York frame Callo. When Dekker says, "then gave him the money..." Hume stole the money from evidence, gave York (him) the money to plant on Callo to frame him because Hume thought York got the raw deal at pearl street. I think it was the mixing up of all the "hims" that tripped up hume and led to dekker figuring out who "him" was. Because when dekker is saying "him" at the beginning, he means curtis (the 2nd alter ego of york)

2) curtis is black. so was his brother who died at pearl street. if you see, in the tub, it's clearly a black man. scott curtis was killed, at some point, and his body placed at the house.

The opening scene is John Curtis. His brother scott (who wesley poses as) is never seen entirely. but he's definitely not white. The guy in the bathroom upstairs was one of the bank robbers from the opening scene of the film. In the bathroom, conners knocks out the white guy, and then rushes to the tub/shower and opens the curtain. In the tub, you can clearly see the guy in the tub is a black guy. at the airport, dekker asks, who's the guy at the morgue? conners says, "scott curtis won't be bothering anyone anymore). I think conners felt since the body would be badly scarred and autopsies take days/weeks, they wouldn't be able to identify that conners didnt die in that explosion until he was long gone. and since the "plan" was contingent on the police beliving wesley was scott curtis, they couldn't have scott curtis around to be caught. so, they killed him before the day.

th guy on the bridge is black. and since scott curtis has a wrap sheet a mile long it's safe to assume he has a mug shot, etc. so i never thought it was a question that curtis was black.

rewatch the scenes again. just know the white guy that dies in the bathroom with conners is the bank robber who blew the safe. John Curtis (black) is on the bridge); his brother (his face never seen) is in the tub (conners hooks his badge to his belt)

That help :)
