Ok so I don't have a credit card so I can't add to (or start in this case) parents guides. But I'd really appreciate it if someone added to it :)

If you care for a reason here is why...

I rented this movie and my 14 yr old brother asked if he could watch it with me. Seeing as the R:16 rating only mentioned violence and no posts on this site mentioned the fact that two characters are wanting to make a sex tape during the film, i let him watch it with me. My mum walked in the room during that particular scene and freaked because she thinks my brothers too young for any nudity and anything related to it.

So to avoid being yelled at in the future could kind kind people please add to those guides?

I can understand that you might want to know why a film is age restricted, but what's with the double standards? 16 for violence and swearing is ok, but sex isn't?

Mums rules not mine :)
But I guess my brother goes to a public school therefore he sees and hears violence and swearing all of lunchtime. Whereas with sex, mum could be trying to preserve my brothers innocence in a way she can control?
Not to say I agree with her but in her house we follow her rules which i find fair enough.
