Christian fundamentalist, anti-science PROPAGANDA !

Yep.

The film starts off with anti-science animal liberators who paint "science is murder!" in an animal research lab.

Then the teens of the film go off to shoot a movie called (at first at least, it changes title mid-way through the film) JUDGMENT DAY about how "godless people have turned their back on god, taken up science, and will now become cannibals and cause their own destruction."

Then at the end of the film, a girl pics up a christian cross and says this is her protection ("god" will protect her from danger apparently).

Then the creature is stabbed with said christian cross, locked in a tomb with a christian cross/fence and the evil scientific creation can die out.

The whole film is an anti-science crusade, pushing a fundy christian agenda about the evils of science.

Having raving religious nuts moved on from science bashing? I guess if science finds a cure for something everyone would jump to grab it if they needed it; if someone is injured they seek a doctor, taking advantage of medical science.

But treat science with such disrespect they don't deserve its benefits.

Avoid this propaganda trash like the plague.

I am an Atheist against all religious propaganda. . .

I'm about to watch this (I get free rentals, so I don't mind crap movies), so I'll come back and see if I agree with you.

I probably will.

Yup, we all know how those Christian fundamentalists love tits and gore! Not to mention ultra promiscuous sex with casual friends and lots of weed-smoking! Ain't no party like a drunken, weeded-out orgy right after church!

I'm Bill Pardy.

I'm sorry - I know this thread is old, but I've just got to say that the OP's observations are the most retarded thing I've ever read... To accuse THIS of ALL movies to be religious propaganda is just too funny!

Of course, looking down the list of Killswitch's other posts, it seems that at least half of them deal with similar themes. I couldn't be bothered actually reading any of them, as I'm sure they must be just as enlightening as his post on this board...

As was mentioned most Christian propaganda contains sex, nudity, drug use, gore, and profanity.

I hope your not planning on reproducing in the future Killswitch.
