The "Tasmanian" devil gets its name from the state of Tasmania. It's spelt with an S. "Tazmanian" is the name of a loony toons cartoon monster that doesn't resemble the real animal in the slightest.
Please don't spell it "taz" - show some self-respect, please. Otherwise...
