location of ferry crossing?

Dear All

My being Russian poor, I watched this movie with (not that great) English subtitles a while ago. Does anybody know,

1) the filming location of the ferry crossing at the end of movie?
2) or where was it supposed to be? (not necessarily where it was filmed)
