Just seen a unfinished version

I, too, saw the unfinished version last night. Same theater.

I found it to be pretty funny. Good movie.

I was there too. I thought it was pretty good if a little predictable.

I especially liked Holly Hunter and Tim Blake Nelson.

There were some clever visual puns that were nicely placed.

The relationship between Tiffany (Alison Lohman) and Ted (Giovanni Ribisi) was completely unbelieveable and a drag on the film.

The plot *could* be cleverly woven a la "Snatch" but it falls flat. Let's hope they clean it up in editing.

Another interesting note is the gore. There is a fair amount of it: more than I have seen in first run films. I'm not offended by it but others may be. I'm not sure if it adds or detracts from the film but it seemed to be something new.
