I guess when you are not only the lead character but also the director, you get to make the rules.

I enjoyed this movie, in my mind stereotypically Italian with the animated, rapid-fire discussions and gesticulating. The characters are all well-played, especially Laura Morante as an emotional wreck who gives advice to couples on her television show.

Perhaps I'm old fashioned and Italians are much more laissez-faire but the husband - and director - ends up with a woman 21 years his junior. Yes, love is love and anything is possible, as is a large ego and a male fantasy,

Nonetheless, a humorous look at the modern-day family.
