No way that was the ending...*spoilers*

No way...

Huh-uh...

Can't be...

That sucked...

All that buildup and we get a basically non-existent final episode. The mighty corporation barely put up any resistance, We never find out what happened to Robin and Amon, and more importantly - with all that sexual tension NOBODY EVER EVEN KISSED ANYONE. WHAT THE HELL!?!

What happened to Zaizan? Was he launched into orbit?

Where did Robin and Amon go?

So now that Dojima is all 007, does she just tell her Corporation team "Ok, guys, let's head home" as if nothing happened?

NONE OF THIS MAKES ANY SENSE!!!

You're the all-singing all-dancing crap of the world

The girl at the end of the closing credits might have or might not have been Robin Sena. The only clue (and it really isn't a clue) is that before the closing credits, something is mentioned about the "new Hunter we're getting today".

Regardless if the girl at the end was her, I'm pretty sure she and Amon survived. Robin had developed strong telekinetic powers by the end of the series. Plus I have faith that everyone would simply assume the two of them legally dead, so that they would take the fall for the sabotage and destruction of the Factory... but obviously Amon and Robin did not perish, and they went on living under false identities or something similar.

As with almost all anime series, the end is designed to leave you guessing and formulate your own conclusion. I can remember anime doing this kind of thing as far back as the days of Akira (and Japanese anime has probably been doing this kind of thing even further back than even that movie).

If you feel somewhat empty after seeing the end of the series, read the fanfics, there are so many of them. The ending is kinda like Sprited Away whre u don't know what happens to Chihiro and Haku. Anyways, I wouldn't mind a second season. Maybe they were planning a second season but the ratings were too low or something.

I agree, they really leave you hanging. I keep feeling like there is going to be another show to tie up all the loose ends, but I'm not sure how likely that is. D=

I'm with you, that was one of the worst series enders ever, no closure

The little scene at the end with Nagira reading the horoscope that said he was going to be visited by someone in black indicated that that Robin would probably be dropping by, I guess
