Living with Fran - the dog

Her dog on the show is a pomeranian. I believe she calls the dog Esther. On the Nanny, there was also a pomeranian on several episodes of the show. It was suppose to be C.C. Babcock's dog and his name was Chester but whenever she came over to the house to work and had the dog with her she'd give him to Fran to watch for her. Since seeing the two shows, both with the same type of dog on them and their names being so similar, I thought maybe they were Fran's personal dogs.
