The Life of Nomi -pastry chef, opera singer, 80's New Wave

Pastry Chef/Opera-Punk music/Space-Plastic suit Singer all in one - Klaus Nomi

I have heard so much about this 80s music man from a friend at Universal that I'm waiting for the release fo the DVD The Nomi Song - http://www.thenomisong.com

The documentary on the life & music of Klaus Nomi presented by Andrew Horn presents a truthful image of the German Opera singer. An eclectic mix of Punk New-Wave and Opera and of course the space couture.

Anyone seen the movie when it was released in Feb?

The songs are an interest - but what about his costumes?! Totally different and unique!!

Anyone want to dress up like Nomi for a mascarade party?

It is playing at the tivoli in St. Louis right now. I haven't seen it yet, but I'm going to try to get over there.

Hope you got to it before Thursday. It annoys me that some movies (Kung Fu Hustle) can stay there for weeks then come back for a second run (Kung Fu Hustle), while other movies are only allowed a week's run (practically every movie but Kung Fu Hustle).
