I finally beat the damn game, from beginning to end! What not many players can accomplish, I finally beat what many consider the hardest game ever made! Whew, I'm glad I can finally shelve it.
On a related note, is it me or does the blonde babe has gorgeous breast?

and im on chapter 10 in master ninja mode
also done all missions (mission mode in ninja gaiden black) on all difficulties.
its easy just be patient always black and counter, and dont every use the same move more than 3 times against the same opponent "exept in bosses"
and if you can master the war hammer and dabilarho "check spelling" they can take most enemies out with a 3 or 4 hit combo. or if you prefare quick weapons use lunar or the vigoorian flail. the kitetsu is also good to use.
(update i finally finished master ninja) the dark dragon blade is so ace when you get hold of it as a weapon)
I'm with you. Very hard game but easily doable if you are patient. I did all the levels in the game on hardest setting. The black edition I got stuck on the last bonus level. Got to the bitch at the end but keep dieing. She really pisses me off.
I love how people find this game impossible though. Not that hard at all. My favorite weapon is the dragon blade. Simple yet awesome. The others are not quite the same.

It's another version of the game that has extra arcade type levels in it. Those are 1000 times harder than the game.
If you already have the original you should probably leave it at that. It is only if you adore the game that you should buy black. Personally I would wait until Ninja Gaiden 2 comes out on 28th March on the 360 and get that. It will be epic

It took me a year to beat it. I gave up for a while on the Alma fight in the church, then i picked it back up and took a month to beat it all the way through.
This was on normal. I'm such a disgrace
The game is not so much "hard" as it is "unfair".
The crappy camera does not help, during some big fights you can not see what is going on all the time and some of the platfoming parts are terrible...all due to a bad camera. Why can you not control the camera yourself (like many other games).
but the fighting itself is pretty easy to master.
It's a shame developers have to rely on cheat tactitics to make a game "hard".

I'm currently playing the black version, and I hate that I have to play through normal again, I wanted to start playing on hard.
