'Mr Average' to screen on Aussie telly!

"A teacher finds his ability to be unexceptional an advantage when he wins a game show called Mr Average."

I'll be watching it for Caroline Dhavernas, of whom I'm a fan... And taping it as from the research I've just done, there is still no DVD release that has English subtitles? :S

Check it out Saturday February 16th, 9.30pm on SBS.

In an *mmmbop* I'm *gone*...

Mmm...I see the slight resemblence to an older Emma Watson too.

I thought the movie was different and cute, but it ran out of steam but the end.

...and it's on again tonight on SBS2. I'll watch the whole thing because I, too, have been a huge Caroline Dhavernas fan since Wonderfalls, and I want to see a movie where she speaks her native français québécois.

...and now I've seen it I can say it was much better than I thought it would be. Caroline was a delight to watch, of course, with her wonderful intensity - utterly believable as Claire - and so nice to hear how soft and sweet her voice is when speaking French - much nicer than American English. Spoilers:I found the ending quite sweet as well, giving up material possessions in favour of kissing - hear! hear! - make love not money
