I just got finished readin g the book Loves abiding joy did anyone find it shocking that clark lost his leg? I know I did anyway i was wondering someone on here said that janette oke wrote a book series about Ellie (their youngest daughter) after she got married, what is the name of the book series? I would really enjoy reading it.

The series is based on Clark and Marty's grandaughter, Virginia. (Virginia is one of Belinda's daughters) Belinda was introduced later in the Love Comes Softly Series. The new series is four books long and the titles are:

A Searching Heart
A Quiet Strength
Like Gold Refined
Like the other novels, all are very good..

shareThat's just in the movies. In the books there is Missie, Clare (in the movies they switched his name to Aaron), Arnie, Elvira(goes by Ellie but she isn't in the movies until the most recent ones - 2011), Luke, and Belinda (who in the movies ends up being Missie's adopted daughter but in the books she is her baby sister) Clark and Marty also adopted two girls by the names of Clae and Nandry who are only in the books.
