decent new western

I saw this a couple of years ago, and its actally an enjoyable new western, nothing compared to the classics or gunsmoke tv-movies, but in comparesment to todays standard its really not bad. probably my favorite one of the newer ones i've seen, (except "Crossfire Trail", that's the greatest 21 centery made western i've seen).

why can't i be you,
youre able to do anything you want to,
why can't i be in your shoes,
out of darkness and chains lose,
you can hit the roads anytime you feel like,
you can step on a buss or an airplane for a flight,
why can't i be you,
do anything you want to,
instead of trapped in jail,
with no such thing as bail,
around me are walls and fenses,
how do i manage to keep my senses,
its all a mess, how did i get in this state,
why did life give me this fate,
you do anything you want to,
why can't i be you.

Saw it for the first time today, and really enjoyed it. Ernest Borgnine and Lou Diamond Phillips were terrific.

It doesn't follow the same rules as the vintage westerns as you say. So not so predictable as I thought it was going to be. Fairly enjoyable.
