High Tension was way better than this movie

They are different movies. High Tension was a lot more violent and, for lack of a better word, scary; Dark Hours was more about the psychology of madness. High tension plays up our love of being scared, while Dark Hours plays on our fear of the unknown.

My vote still goes to The Dark Hours. High Tension was blatant plagiarism.

I'd give my left arm to be ambidextrous.

I concur about the plagiarism. That offended me almost as much as that idiotic ending (maybe it was the best way to cover up the plagiarism and avoid legal ramifications?). I liked (but didn't love) The Dark Hours so I guess I would choose that.

i liked High tension, it was gory but the atmosphere was really heavy and stressful. I liked the acting too, Cecile de France is great.
But I have to add that Sam, in The Dark Hours, in incredibly beautiful. That's a little detail, but she's really pretty, her face is perfect. Don't you think?
