Combat Load for the Secret Service

What is the combat load for agents in the Secret Service anyway? If I were to judge from this movie, it is at least 300 for handguns and more for submachine guns. The agents do reload in the movie but never run out of ammo. They don't even police up the weapons and ammo of the enemy which would be more realistic. Why not trade up from a semi-automatic pistol to an assault rifle?

They also need a few grenades. Lots of direct fire armament, but if you need to clear a room fast, chuck in a grenade. At least the enemy had grenades but they should have fired to keep Lundgren from pitching it back to them. Oh well, just another day in the Hollywood school of small unit tactics.

This wasn't a terrible movie, though it was only fair at best. Lundgren's direction was competent though they should have done more to keep the Washington characters straight.
