Did anybody catch the guy in the background?

Did anybody else see the guy right next to gerry at 16:43 was that a crew member or was it supposed to be a character? lol It might be stupid but it's pretty funny.

reply

lol yeah, looks like some bald crew member in a t-shirt accidentally walked into the shot

reply

Could anyone post a screencap? i don't have the dvd and it's not for sale in france! (though with Gerard Butler's recent popularity with 300, I hope they release it some time).
Thanks!

That "guy", is something called a woman. She is in the movie, and is carrying food or drinks around.

reply

One thing I know for sure is that is not a woman. You can clearly see that it is a man with a shaved head. I am almost positive it is just crew member that walked into the shot.

reply

It's actually at around 17:43 in the movie. When Beowulf kneels and pays homage to his king, then says he's going to help Hrothgar, somebody pops into frame, and then back out.

reply

I think it's just a character tending fire in the background. A couple of them are there during the scene. It's too dark for me to see a bald head specifically!

h.

reply

Maybe it is one of those little kids wearing a leather helmet.

reply

haha I am watching it now and I definitely saw something but it could have just been an extra...

reply

too funny - it's a bald headed guy for sure

reply

I did a double take when I first saw it it's like he dodges out of shot really quickly as if another crew member yells at him to move the hell out of the way.

*I'm your stranger ... Jump!*

reply

I had to rewind to make sure I saw what I thought I saw. If it is an extra than they didn't do a very good job on his costume. He didn't look as scruffy as everyone else.

reply

Haha, yeah, I saw him about the 15th time I watched the movie.

There was this woman sitting in the background of a scene where Beowulf and Breca were swordfighting... anybody see that or am I just on crack?

on Netflix, it's 18:00 exactly. Hilarious how he jumps back!

reply

It looks like a crew member, on the Bluray you can only see his silhouette but he clearly walks from right to left and turns, then jumps as if surprised and quickly moves back to the right out of shot. This is all in the background.
