This is one of those movies where you're watching it wondering if your eyes have somehow disconnected from your brain because there's no way people would bother making such a piece of trash.
The original animation was psychedelic and nihilistic. Plus, doesn't Aeon get killed in every episode?
Go rent Versus instead. Rent anything instead!
I walked out of Ultraviolet and wished I had walked out on this crap back in the day. It's bad that when you stumble upon this page years later and remember how much you hate a film that you have to comment.

never saw the original animations, never cared. loved this movie.
She does die over and over and over, but comes back, because they are all clones/copies. Did you miss that part? It had an intriguing plot, great visuals, interesting concepts... maybe it wasn't what a movie based on the original should have been.... but without that connection, I felt it was enjoyable.
UNLIKE that train wreck of Ultraviolet: "VAMPIRES"?? Why exactly? Oh, no reason? okay....
At least Aeon Flux did things for a reason.
