Need advice from those who've seen series so far....

I think this may have been brought up on another thread and if so, I apologize but I couldn't find it.

I'm in the US and have been watching Series 1. I like the actors quite a bit and I find some of it hilarious. Unfortunately, I have little patience for the bits where Howard (the groom) could simply explain what has happened (eg the whole bit with the lamb goulash).

I was wondering if it is worth sticking it out and purchasing S2? (I'd have to purchase it as I'm it is not currently being shown where I am.) I've heard mixed reviews on S2, some saying it is better, others saying it is worse.

I am halfway though series two and find it almost as funny as series one. Predictable maybe but I still enjoy the actors and the sillyness. BTW, if you have Netflix you can stream the three series. Cheers.

Yes! Series 2 was way better than series 1. I got the boxset and I find the first series really unbearbale and slow, just boring, but I love series 2! I could watch it over and over again!
Series 3 is just meh. Still better than series 1.
