funniest moment

I liked the bit when Howard's on the phone to Ben and he discovers that he has gave Dick the flavoured condoms by mistake.

I also like the bit when Dick and Angela discover Howard is trying to smuggle Binky in his holdall back to his flat!

Then the bit when Howard is looking at a picture of Mel as a child and he accidentally burns a Hitler mustache onto Dick's portrait.

My favourite moment is connected to that - when he's talking to Dick, and doesn't know that he's given him the condoms - all that talk about "I didn't know what size you were" - has me in stitches every time!

What about the bit when Howard has to spend the night under Dick and Angela's bed while they are having sex.

Then the bit in Episode 1 when Howard and Mel are arguing over the ring and Howard goes "there's a very large, very articulated lorry!"

Also the bit when Dick says to Mel "You loved Henry, but you didn't marry him" and Mel says "Henry was my pony!"

The whole medal thing was genious

:P "Hello Zep...."

"The whole medal thing was genious."

Have to disagree on that - at least the first part. Yes, it got better later on, but the dog putting it on the barbecue was just too obviously planted. Subsequent incidents involving it were fine, but the setup left a lot to be desired.

yeah suppose thats a good point

:P "Hello Zep...."

What medal ? I can't remember that one

My favourite is the look on the fathers face whwnever something happens. The ultimate example is when he says the immortal line

'He's examining his stools'

I love the whole scene where Howard and Mel meet Howard's Dad's girlfriend. It's hilarious when she says, "My nipples were the size of cocktail sausages!" Lmao!

Ignore my 'What medal comment'

I had only seen Series 1 at that stage lol

Probably for me the funniest part is in the very first episode when he flushes the lamb goulache down the toilet, but then they float back and as he has his hands in the toilet fishing them out, Dick walks in thinking 'oh my god!' that really was the funniest for me. It is overall a fantastic show,

This is a bunch of crap, I've been licking this carpet for three hours and I still don't feel like a lesbian!

For me, the bit which made my laugh so much was when Howard comes down the bannister and knocks over the Grandma, classic .

Not many comedies make me laugh out loud but this one does.

Love the bit with the sex toy in the drawer when the sexual harassment lady comes in to talk to Howard and the bit where his mobile goes off while he's in the cubicle. Comedy gold.

What I find very ironic is that this show is very similar to Meet the Parents (though I couldn't care less because that movie and this show are both great) but the protagonist for MTP is Ben Stiller and for TWWOML it is Ben Miller. lol.

Where do you start? There are so many.

But in the first series, I would choose Howard's mistake with the printers, and the wedding stationery said "Dick Cock" rather than "Dick Cook".

In the second series, the scene where Howard has been arrested for dogging and accidently hits a neo-nazi at the police station is hilarious.

reply

"Dick Cock" and the condom/watch swap have to be my favorite. "30 flavor chicken tikka..." BWAHAHAH!

reply

It's all hilarious, of course, but there's a little moment that has me in stitches every time. When Mel walks in on Howard chipping the concrete of Binky, she complains about having to look at the dead dog, so Howard takes the tea cosy and puts it over Binky's head. It's a tiny gag, but I find it absolutely hysterical!

Two moments in series 2 ... when Howard bursts in on Angela's Brazilian ...and when Mel and the midwife are climbing the malfunctioning gate and the power comes on. I nearly choked.

But you ARE Blanche ... and I AM.

I loved all of the foregoing, but for me the heartiest laugh came from the scene in which Howard throws Binky into the cement mixer. What a hilarious bit of physical comedy!

I like the bit when the series finished!

In the Christmas Special where Howard is talking to Mel's sister in New Zealand and yelling "HE'S DEAD!" into the phone while Angela is bawling her eyes out.
