Do u guys think whitchcraft is real?

Same question because i was curious

psh. no. not at all!

reply

I think it is real. Both black magic and white magic, but black magic gets your ass on karma's list lol.

reply

magic is real. also you forgot red magic. the spells of love and lust

reply

There is no black or white magic. Magic either good or evil is coming from the heart of the witch. Magic is magic it all it is how or who performs it.

I'm kind of biased but I'll comment anyway. For the last six years, I've been practising Wicca ( a neo-pagan religion).
Now I never did spells before but I met a girl at school who was also practising Wicca. We did a few simple spells over the year.
For example, I myself, am horrid at Math. I basically get a 68% every term while my other marks are 85% or above.
So, when it came down to the unit in which I was dreading, we cast a spell for me to do good.
I got a 88%!!!
I was so happy because in class, I had no idea what she was talking about, yet on the test, I understood everything.
After overhearing a conversation between my fellow Wiccan and I, my math teacher said it was because I believed I could do it and hence, I did good. Which could be true, but I will always believe my spell did it.

I think it all comes down to choice. If you believe, it will go your way. If not, then maybe Witchcraft isn't your thing.

let me put it this way... it's as real as prayer (as real as praying to God)

"let me put it this way... it's as real as prayer (as real as praying to God)"

I agree, very much the same thing. A waste of time and effort.

reply

tell me what will i see then if i'll do it ?

reply

You won't see anything besides your own reflection.

I have a few friends that are into the witchcraft scene. I have heard and have clarified it with my friends that for a spell to work, the person casting it must beleive that it will. As to the person the spell is affecting (if it's a different person), I'm not too sure. My friends told me that if the person requests a spell, he or she must also beleive that it will work. Which makes me wonder, what if the person didn't ask that a spell be cast on them? (probably most common with love spells like in the movie, and revenge spells)
I've heard of the white and black magic, but I've never heard of the red magic.

What good is mining nose gold if you can't share it with the townspeople?

reply

Well if the person didn't ask for the spell to be cast on them then the one who cast the spell is in for some bad luck. I've read up on some of this, and yeah sorry I forgot about red magic! Can't forget about love! I love your sig by the way Bhammovieguy77! I love Family Guy.

You lot are as dumb as sheep. Magic is all in your head, just like every religion out there. Humans create every religion because they have to have something to attach to when things get out of there hands, so they believe in something bigger, hell even I am tempted some times. Remember these words!!! IT IS ALL IN YOUR HEAD!!

Saddened soul whom art thou...

reply

Everything is science, magic is science since it can be explained by it. Even if we. as human cannot explain a particular event, i believe there is one out there waiting to be discovered. Witchcraft? i dont believe it to be true. However ghosts are a different story.

reply

Magic isn't a religion. It is a force. Witchcraft also is not a religion. Wicca is a religion.

reply

It depends, what you call "magic". Strange, unexplainable by science (still) things? Yes, they happens. Talking about spells - i think this is all about suggestion. Somebody casts a spell on him/herself - it's autosuggestion. Somebody cursed or blessed you, and you believe that this will work - yes, it will, because you believe so. Autosuggestion does everything here. That's why everything is put on believe. Every magic is based on it. And rituals is for making you to believe in it. Once you believe - it starts to work.

You are a god, but there is a problem (you don't believe it :)

reply

I do believe in witchcraft because I am a wiccan, and I practice the white form of it.

"And so the lion fell in love with the lamb" "What a stupid lamb" "what a sick masochistic lion."

reply

I myself am a pagan. Now I have never cast any spells because as I believe that things I need help with, I first help myself. I only rely upon the gods and goddesses to help with those things that are out of my control. I know that belief is by far the most crucial "ingrediant" in any spell. I myself have just never had a need to do it. I am sure they day will come in which I will have to.

And as far as science & prayer & spells & evverything else I believe Dana Scully put it best when she said "Nothing happens in contradiction to nature, only in contradiction to what we know of it."

There is no such thing as good magic. It is all bad and should not be messed with. Everything you ask for and get must be paid for in some way. My girlfriend was into white magic and she did no harm to anyone but she cast a few spells for herself. I told her to stop because she was going to have a big price to pay. I kid you not, in one day, she was robbed of all her savings, lost her job and got hit by a car, the driver smiled at her as she rolled across his windsheild and drove off. that was the end of practicing magic for her.

You'll have nothing and like it!
Double Farts!!!

reply

Yeah I seriously doubt all that happened because she dabbled in a little magic. Stuff like that is the *beep* that people read about in chain letters.

Anyway, being Wiccan myself. Witchcraft does exist, but not to the extent that you all know of really. Or at least most people anyway, it's not hyped up media garbage like The Craft. It's really like praying, if you look at it like that. We're just asking for something, so what if we light a candle and burn sage? Besides that, most Christian holidays today were Pagan holidays first. It's real.

reply

I know that stuff happened because she dabbled in a little magic. My grandmother was a Santera. She use to do that stuff for a living and we saw some really crazy stuff happen and we also saw my grandma pay dearly for the spells she cast. My girlfriend herself said she knew she was going to pay but she didn't think it would be that bad and all at once.

You'll have nothing and like it!

There is no such thing as White magic Black magic or Red magic or any other color. Magic is magic and thats all. Its like a religion. You cant say there is white christianity and black christianity because its not true. White black and all other colors related to magic are put into your head with books and movies that dont tell the truth. I am wiccan and i believe in magic. I dont believe in color magic because all magic can be good or bad. Like the story about your girlfriend. I dont believe your story is true sorry but if it is then i would say she casts too many spells for herself. Magic works better when cast to help others. Also the other person with the math thing. I suggest you dont rely on magic to help you through life. Magic shouldnt be used whenever and wherever.
In wicca there is a saying that almost everybody knows about: 'True power is knowledge' So you should study and study hard to become succesfull. Its the same as wicca you study wicca which makes you stronger and wiser. So if you study for your tests im sure you would get good grades as well and then you know they are truly yours and that you deserve it.

Well thats it

reply

yes there is a real religion that practises witchcraft and they do actually believe they are witches and before you get that question in your mind they do not worship the devil well they don't actually have superpowers but they do believe they can do spells

I believe Witchcraft is real. Just like I believe Magic, Voodoo and Ghosts are real. Anything's possible.

reply

for something to happen, u have to believe in it. so much so, that u feel it all through your body. i myself do not practice witch craft, and i am not a part of any religion, but, i think its like taking a placebo, u think it'll work, cuz u think its medicine, but theres nothing in the pill, but it works, cuz u think it does, the brain is very mysterious.

reply

I believe in it, I've always wanted to do a spell. But I heard you must pay for it... and I can't handle pain or anything.

I'll put it this way. I don't believe in things like Witchcraft or Ghosts or anything of that nature. I would however LOVE to be proven wrong on a great deal of things. I want to go to a haunted house that's really haunted and see it for myself for example!

I would talk about my feelings on all these things more, but I don't like doing so on a forum because things can turn bad fast and I don't want that to happen.

who knows. on the eve of the battle of britain a coven of english witches, the new forest coven, performed an emergency ceremony to stop the germans from crossing the sea. it involved erecting a cone of psychic power facing the french coast and chanting you cannot cross the sea you cannot come. one of the witches, a man named gardner said several of the older witches died, there life force expended by the ritual. he said this ceremony had been performed twice before in history, once in 1588 when the spanish armada was sailing for england (the armada was caught in a severe storm and never reached england) and again when napoleon was trying to cross the channel. did magick protect the shores of england from invaders? who knows.

there are no simple answers to questions like these because some people are going to believe and some people aren't. this is how i feel from my experience: 1)i completely agree that there's no such thing as black or white magic (and where the hell did you come up with red?) a spell can be good or bad just like a particular witch can be good or bad, but magic itself is not because it's rooted in nature and like nature there is a balance of good and bad in everything. 2)being wiccan and being a witch are not the same thing. wicca is a religion. witchcraft is NOT. you can be wiccan and be a witch, but just because you practice wicca and you throw out a few spells does not make you a witch. you can also be a witch and have nothing to do with wicca. i am a natural witch who prefers not to practice. i am not wiccan. i am christian. 3) while i'm certain that some of the events told here have been sensationalized i do know that if you mess with nature in ways that weren't intended it will come back to haunt you. my personal experiences have been mostly from telling fortunes. i have a friend who is not a witch at all but can read fortunes amazingly accurately. every time she does something bad comes back on her. myself, when i was younger i used my talents to play little fortune telling games or to do simple energy transfers. i saw the scariest thing ever in my life. i'll just say that when you start to play with the devil he will come to visit you. and please don't think that i'm saying that all witchcraft is rooted in devil worship. i'm not a hick. remember i said that i'm a christian natural witch. i'm just saying be careful what you mess with. much love, j.

I don't usually post on these things much but I wanted to say a couple things. First the whole believing in the spell thing. I would think that there should be ways to prove that true or untrue. Like cast a spell to make yourself governor or something that would normally be completely impossible at that time. Then you'll know if belief really is the trick. Also I have no proof or anything to back this up but when I was young my dad had a book about/involving witchcraft and he told me that, to a christian, casting a spell is as bad a sin as suicide (unforgivable). And the opening page of the book warned that attempting to cast any of the spells listed would automatically condemn you. I'm sure everyone has different views etc but that scared me enough that I haven't ever dabbled in it.
