I get that she was "punishing" Patrick for raping all those girls by making Shawn "pitch" and making Patrick "catch" but since she can control them they like to please her while they're under her spell. So would that really be a punishment to Patrick if she told him to do it? I mean, when Kisha walked in they seemed to be pretty content with eachother, so I just don't see how it would have been a punishment that way. I think it would have worked better if it was Shawn under her spell and she made him screw Patrick, because then Patrick would know what was going on, so it would be more of a punishment to him for raping all of those girls. But because he is under her spell as well, wouldn't he be essenitally happy with being boned by Shawn because it's what Tamara wanted?

I may be overthinking it all but to me it doesn't seem like they're really aware of what's going on...unless if Shawn and Patrick had some homo erotic fantasies that they weren't willing to admit. So, I don't see how it'd really please her if Patrick can't really tell how he made those girls feel. And I mean, she made Roger gouge his eyes out when he did nothing to her, she made Kisha eat her fingers, and she made her dad eat beer bottles...Shawn and Patrick put the whole prank together and basically caused her death...and all she does is make them have sex? I mean, I guess it wouldn't be so great for Patrick since he's receiving but...Shawn put the whole thing together and he's getting loads of pleasure...I just don't understand it, I guess...unless if the writers just wanted to put some weird twisted humor in it or something. I dunno.

Believe it or not- I've had this discussion with several people... The common theme is, they don't get it and i don't get how they can't get it.

From what I've heard, you are correct though, it was supposed to be done as a more cut and dried rape. Shawn being the only one under Tamara's control. Jeffrey Reddick was absent from the set during the filming this scene though, which is how it wound up as it is.
I don't necessarily think thats a bad thing though. I think the two of them being shown as very apathetic to the whole situation is more in sync with the rest of the movies victims, after all Roger didn't seem to upset over cutting off several minor bits and Tamara's father seemed more than happy to choke down beer bottles. If we assume that it was painful for them regardless of whether they showed a reaction or not, isn't it then logical to assume that Shawn and Patrick found their situation just as horrifying.
Also I think it's also more insidious the way it is, the girls Shawn and Patrick raped, would more than likely have been left with questions as whether they'd really been raped or not. Patrick and Shawn would probably have been left in a similar situation after. Assuming that (had things gone differently) Tamara was planning on leaving them alone after having Shawn rape Patrick... unlikely.

Why didn't she have other party goers walk in on them? That would have been the humiliation. (kinda like Heathers) No one saw, no embarrassment.

Just because you pretend something never happened doesn't mean it still doesn't haunt you, especially if it's something like sexual abuse. Actually, suppressing stuff like that can hurt you far more than if you told people about it.

Different shows have shown different after effects of mind control. Lots of shows have the characters not remember anything that they did, as a convienent way to out of whatever was done.

As long as they do in fact remember what they did, they dont really need people to walk in on them.

Dang talk about a unique revenge. LMAO I never would have thought of that. I personally wanted the short haired dude to "catch". But I definitely would have taped it and broadcasted it at least to 100 houses if not the entire internet. Also would have liked the entire house to walk in on them.

I think eventually the partygoers would have walked in. I believe they just left it to the audience's imagination. That, or they just didn't think it through.

i think it would have been better if she made them bone each other...while filming it and showing it on the tvs in the house..that way all of their friends will see them get down with each other and at that moment release them from the spell so they can face the embarrassment

Yeah it would have been hotter if everyone in the house saw the gay sex between Shawn and Patrick. No one would have believed that they were under mind control, they would just think that Shawn and Patrick were finally revealing who they really were.

Probably the director figured all the 14-year-old heterosexual boys watching would freak out over the thought of two guys kissing and that was the reaction he was going for.

That's a good point, but at the same time its the director that made Final Destination 1, so he could could have done more with the scene, not necessarily to be pornographic, but to show proper retribution for raping so many girls. At the same time, that was one of the tamest scenes compared to how she dispatched the AV nerd and Anika (sp?) (the girl who ate her fingers). I wish they would have made a part 2, or given resolution to that bitch's punishment and had her dying as she was eating a chunk of her ass.
