Okay, So I was watching the movie on cable today but I had to go and didn;t finish it. Could someone tell me what happened after the kids told Mary and her lover about the parents.

The lawyer and teacher helped them out by telling them if they just put the bodies back everything would be okay, and yes, it is implied that Tabby and Joe got together.
