Am I the Only One Who Doesn't Think it's Funny?

I decided to give this a chance after reading overwhelmingly positive reviews. I'm 15 minutes into the first season and have not laughed or smiled once.

I should add that I used to play Halo.

The odd thing is...it's not like I am sitting here watching jokes tank; I'm sitting here just feeling like I'm watching guys talking and bickering. It doesn't appear that any jokes are even being attempted.

I know most of you are gonna think, "You idiot. The humor is just over your head." Is there anybody else out there like me?

oh, i didnt at all laugh in the last season, except for one time and i dont remember when that was. same with the 4th season, didnt laugh.

but, the 1st-3rd are awesome. even if you dont laugh out loud, its still very much worth it to see them. its a good show.

Listen man you can't base your opinion on the 1st 15 mins I'll admit it is kinda weak at the start but it gets much better as it goes on.
especially seeing as how vic doesn't show up for a while.

On the other hand, a friend of mine just can't get it, but when I recite entire episodes verbatim, she thinks it's hilarious. Go figure.

the first season is a bit slow on the humour but it gets funnier for the second season. you should have laughed at "why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free" or at least *beep* during the opening episode. Oh, and one more quote for those people who keep slagging off the last two seasons "where were you planning on shooting him from, the *beep* moon? if you'd backed up any further you'd have had to mail him the bullets!"

This is one of the funniest things Ive ever seen in my life. I'm slightly annoyed that afew others can't share the humour though, I'm sure you might find something else funny though.

I've never even played Halo, and I think this series is hysterical! Some people just have different ideas on what is funny.

I agree with you. I just gave this a second chance after failing to think it was funny a few years ago.

I still thought it was boring.

You're not alone. I haven't gone out of my way to watch too much of RvB, but I've watched enough, and I can tell you that anyone who says "the humor is...over your head" is talking out of their @$$ and have ZERO business pretending to be ANY kind of authority on comedy.
