How come...??

all these movies that were made in like 2004/2005 are just being released now?

It's a life-long obsession;
I'll get over it.

because they suck and movies that suck take longer to find a distributor

Namaste, and good luck.

It's not because they suck like that loser, Sweiland75, said. It is because certain films don't fill the preffered marketable demographic at the time they are produced. For that reason they sit for a while till they can be released and perform better in the market place.

It is also difficult for independently made films to be picked up for distribution. With a larger number of feature length films being made now, due to the digital age, there are only so many cinemas that can screen these films, especially with all the so-called 'Blockbusters' being made in Hollywood and getting released on thousands of screens.

Why can't you find a marketable demographic for a film that doesn't suck?

You really should do yourself a favour and stop stating your opinions as fact.

This is David Krumholtz's defining role, watch out for him in the future. I'd recommend this movie, but someone will just say it sucks. So I guess, do whatever.

reply

Krumholtz's was great in this film and I love the way it was shot low budget on Digital. There are always going to be losers who bash Low Budget Independent Film, but they hate themselves...so....i pity them.

Really enjoyed this film, and most of Ed Burns films, because of all the Manhattan locations, as I was a Manhattanite for 50 years.

Also like the performances, and the way Burns writes interaction between the characters, and always put little off-kilter moments in his films.

Really enjoyed The Groomsmen and She's The One.
