reply

No they are not filming another movie.
Jackass is Dead.

Johnny Knoxville is an actor now.
Bam has his own show ("Viva La Bam" on MTV) thats going to be over soon too. He also makes skate videos (the CKY series) and Movies ("Haggard" and the upcoming "Haggarder"), and all of his projects include Brandon DiCamillo, Ryan Dunn, Raab Himself, etc.
Steve-O has his own Videos and Tour ("Don't Try This At Home") and along with Chris Pontius, do a nature show called "WildBoys" on MTV.
Preston and Wee-Man are also on the "Don't Try this at Home" Videos and Tour, and Wee-Man released his own video called "American Misfits".
Dave England is working on his own show for Comedy Central that should premire soon.

There will be no more Jackass however.
It's Dead.
Get over it.

I doubt they will do another movie. If they do, it won't be anytime soon.

The Jackass: Volume Two is just the second season I believe. But it was released in 2003, not 2004. There's also Jackass: Volume Three. The first volume isn't out yet. When I got the last two, there was a sticker saying volume one wasn't out because it was really haggard.

Um? Can anyone translate what the previous poster just tried to say by this utter nonsence? I'm having a problem understanding what he/she means, maybe because I know how to spell?

reply

What's Ehren up to these days? Anyone know? I'd like to know.

On the Jackass Volume 2 & 3 box set, or individual boxes, there was a sticker applied to the casing sayin "DUE TO SOME HAGGARD CIRCUMSTANCES, VOLUME 1 OF THE JACKASS TV SERIES ISN'T COMING OUT ANYTIME SOON, BUT IN THE MEANTIME HERE VOLUME..."
I hope there is no more Jackass, it started to go down hill in the later stuff - not too anyone's fault but they are 2 well known for their stunts to work annonomously, secondly there are 2 many idiots copying their stuff it kinda becomes not as funny, and 3rdly - there isn't much thats left to do.
They went out on a high, and we can be glad we know have things like 'Viva la Bam' for tame amusment and 'steve-o don't try this at home...' for the not so faint hearted.
You can download all the series, which the volumes are made up of - if you are really desperate to see volume 1. But i will warn Volume 1 will not be made up of Series 1, they mixed it all up.

reply

I don't think there is a Jackass: Volume 1 DVD out there. From what I heard, they just thought it would be funny to make volume 2 and volume 3 DVD's without ever making a volume 1.

Maybe one day we'll have "Son Of Jackass" as foretold by Rip Taylor.
But only this time it features the offspring of everyones favourite group of headcases :)

Steve - O Jnr among many others lol

And technically Jackass ain't dead...we can watch it on reruns....cheap TV has never been so good!!

reply

Johnny knoxville just said on conan that they're talking about making the sequel to the movie...

reply

aahhhh...SON OF JACKASS!!!!

It's a morbidly entertaining (and entertainingly morbid) compilation of the MTV series, and it rates a solid 8/10 stars from me.
