Was this ever released in the cinema?

Hi:

I thought this was a great movie, but I don't remember ever seeing it in the cinema (UK). Did it go straight to dvd?

I'm sure I would have remembered if it was on at the cinema! It's the sort of thing I would have gone to see...

Kind Regards

Dear Stevie,

Hi.

In response to you very politely worded query as far as I am aware this film was not released in the cinema here in good old Great Britain. In fact I believe it is a made for TV movie, although I could be wrong, it does happen occasionally.

I hope this was of some use to you.

Yours constructively,

John M Laguna

No. This film was made for American Television, specifically, the cable network A&E - Arts & Entertainment.

I really liked this film. I missed a couple of lines at the end though. What percent of Paratroopers lived? they were predicting around 70% dead.

Maybe they should have mentioned that Omaha was a disaster as well. I guess im just being picky.

reply

they estimated 70% dead, only 20% actually died
