this is a very random question, but does anyone know where in australia the son supposedly lives? or where they filmed his scenes in australia?? thank you!

Hi,

I played the son,s Mother opposite Petr. The scene in the house was in Brisbane in an inner city suburb. I believe the beach scenes were taken place at Bribie Island which is half way between Brisbane QLD and the Sunshine coast.

Since the is written on the screen "Brisbane, Australia" I can only assume he supposedly lives there. Although he talks about a surf shop at Byron Bay which is an hour or two south of Brisbane, so that's slightly ambiguous. But he definitely lives in Brisbane.
