Well Vanilla Ice is appearing on a Reality TV show called The Farm, here in the UK for the next three weeks. So far he's wound a few people up, threatening to punch Terry Christian in the grill. He also said he was making a new album with tracks by the Wu-Tang Cland and Public Enemy. He also called Chris Rock a racist *beep* cause he made a joke about him. Hasn't mentioned about this movie yet. Looks like this was set up as a promotion for the Ice-man's return to celebrity status.
I reckon he should team up with Eminem, let the white boys roll together.
Here's what I was told about "The Helix Loaded":
The Helix...Loaded just got picked up for distribution and will be released in 75 theaters November 12 in the US and with DVDs in stores for December.
I hope they show it in my area...I'd love to see myself on the screen!
Rob was really cool to me. I was only on set 1 day and didn't have the chance to get to know Rob that well. He was pretty busy working.
Anyway, now we know when and where we can see the film!

Hey, um...I visited www.thehelixloaded.com and it seems like the website hasn't been updated in a while, you mentioned that the dvd will be in stores in december of 04 but I can't find it anywhere, do you have any updates or any information? I'm not sure. My shooting schedule only required 1 day on set. I met alot of people but I don't remember all of the names. When I see the final of the film, I'll see if I recognize her!

this is cool. i cant wait to get a hold of it. Rob is dang cool. saw him play at an ICP gathering a few years ago. really got the crowd going. a few songs were a lil repetative, but its all good.

Well...its official. Helix comes out on Jan 14. The scary part....its actually showing in theaters. The Mann theater chain picked it up and is doing a limited release on it before the DVDs go out. Oh...and if Delia's (Agent Crack's) mom sees this, please tell her that Ryan the effects guy says hi!

Oh...very sorry Mr. Agent Crack's dad. I actually lived on that set for about a month and Delia was an absolute blast ta work with :)
shareOk, ahem, Ryan, let's make sure we convey *how much* you actually lived there. Ryan might as well have changed his address to the set and put a mailbox out front. He was there on the first day of shooting, the last day of shooting, every day inbetween, and a ton of post days afterward. At one point, he lived in his RV that he parked on location (which actually made it into a shot of the film, btw). I only slept one night on the couch of the post-production facility, but he literally lived there too.
Yes it will be in theatres January 14th, and the DVD has been delayed because of it.
My daughters, Brittany and Brenna both acted in it as well.
It's VERY real and a lot of fun to work on. Rob was great, and fun to work with, as all the cast and crew was. How funny it is, and how much the audience likes it remains to be seen...
I'll never forget Samantha punching through the drywall prop. :)

Actually I stumbled on Delia's site while doing a net search on the Helix. Loved seeing the pics sho took, though she always seemed ta catch me at my WORST! :P By the way, the word has just come down that the release day for Helix has been pushed back two weeks. All our advertising had ta get MPAA approval and by the time that was done, there was no time to advertise :P. So the new release date in Feb 4th.
