'A Good Year' is the best comedy movie of the word! I love it and I can watch this film every day without boring <3
Sorry for mistakes (if I do them) but I am Italian ;D

Just finished watching it, and I agree 100%.

Maybe I'm just a gay, but I love it too.

I think its a pretty good for what it is. A lot of people just didn't give it a chance

I agree, I love this movie.

I saw it in the theater in 06 & was swept away by the breezy happy nature of the film. It was a type of drama you don't see much of now post-recession.

I love it & wish for a secret. Read Peter Mayle(I think his name is)'s novel also after having seen the movie. Great story although the book is a bit more poetic than the film.

I love this movie too. It is often repeated on TV in UK, and I watch it every time it is on. I love the tone, mod of the film - and I love Russel Crowe's character. I wish actors would do more like this - it's as if their egos get in the way to such an extent that they only want to play characters that allow them to do big, bold show-offy acting - often viscous characters.

What's wrong with just being gently and wittily entertaining?

Same here, showing again here in Australia and always makes me smile while enjoying the scenery .

Not sure why it get such a bad rep other then already mentioned expecting the same old same from Scott and Crowe

It's a great film, probably my favourite. I flew to the location a couple of years ago, hired a car and drove around. Went to the chateau (La Canorgue in real life), went to Gordes, Fanny's café (Hotel Renaissance), The junction where Max gets lost on the D3, pretty much all of it - Well worth the trip

Have just watched this again on cable, for the Nth time. It never fails to make me feel good ... every time. I'm big and I'm butch, but I shed a little tear of happiness at the end, every time. Must be in touch with my feminine side or something.

There is real life ... and then there are movies!

I also. I've read all of Peter Mayle's "memoir" books and adore Provence (from a distance). This wonderful film puts it solidly on my bucket list. I, too, could watch it many, many times and never be bored.
