The incredible Cloned castle
Poltergeist: The Legacy is about the San Francisco branch of the organization called The Legacy, who have their headquarters in a large castellated mansion on Angel Island in San Francisco Bay.
The interiors of the headquarters were filmed in studio sets, but the exteriors were views of Hatley Castle, Colwood, British Columbia, Canada.
Hatley Castle has been used for exteriors and/or interiors of many other fictional mansions in movies and television.
It was also Lex luther's residence in Smallville, the ancestral home of the luther family which his father, Lionel Luther, shipped across the Atlantic and reassembled near Smallville, Kansas.
In Masterminds it was the Shady Glen school in Calforinia.
It was also the Osbourne Mansion near New York City in Fierce People.
It is Professor Xavier's school in the X-Men movies.
In The Duke it is a country house in the UK.
If all those movies and tv shows were in the same fictional universe there would be at least half a dozen different clones in different locations around the world of the same castle deign.
Of course there are many other real mansions which have each appeared as several different fictional houses in different regions.
