Will David Spade and John Goodman return ?!?!

THAT is the question.

They damn well better return for this movie! Why wouldn't they? David Spade is doing Capital One commercials for crying out loud! But even if they do return, I most likely won't see it. I don't want to ruin the first one by seeing the piece of sh*t I know this movie is going to be.

Just because you don't see their names listed on the cast list doesn't mean they aren't signed onto the project yet, iMDB usually lags behind in updating who has been added to the project. I think if David Spade and John Goodman return to the project it'll definitely be worth seeing. And it's worth a try to watch if their casting spots remain unfilled b/c it might just be unupdated. When you see Kuzco and Pacha's voice spots filled by some other no-name actors, THAT IS WHEN YOU GIVE UP ON THIS MOVIE.

Why wouldn't David return? Didn't you read what I wrote a few replys ago? Anything's better than commercials. Yeah, that Kuzco replacement was sooooo lame. I can't even listen to him when I watch it.

There isnt any mention of Kuzco or Pacha, only new characters, Kronk, Yzma and wendie malick's character (I cant remember her name). I think it would be strange to have Pacha's wife and no Pacha, so i think that they may be included sooner or later (hopefullY)

reply

uh, wouldn't it like, not be The EMPEROR'S New Groove (II) if there was no Emperor Kuzco? yeesh. that's what the whole first movie was about! they wouldn't be stupid enough to make a whole movie without them...right..?

Knowing recent Disney sequels... anything's possible

You cant say that him doing the commercials is a step down though. I mean think about it, movies, once every couple of years you get a single payment of about $100,000.00 - $1,000,000.00 depending on who you are then go to TV....where you get $25,000.00 per episode for 12-24 episodes a year (for those of us keeping track thats 60,000.00 a year for being on television
which is less work than a movie, with fewer hours. Now for commercials.... a $50,000.00 appearance fee (which is actually SPades appearance fee, I can't think of what the magazine is called but they publish it quarterly. plus he gets a ten percent fee (thats $5,000k for all of use still paying attention) for each time the commercial airs. SO what the public views as a step down, is actually a steady paycheck, that leaves them time to still do movies for that fat check, step up!

This is going to be straight to video (un-very-freaking-fortunately) so it will not have anyone that famous really.

If it was a theatre release, it would probably have them, and, if not, would at least have some others with status at the helm.

it lists David Spade as being involved now

no news on John Goodman yet

ALRIGHT ALREADY!
Everyone take a gander.... John Goodman, David Spade are back as Kuzco and Pacha. Kronk and Izma are the same and those 4 characters are really all that matters. If anything is possible with Disney sequels (as stated before), this movie could actually goto theaters and be just as amazing as the first. I think one thing we should look for is if the scriptwriter is the same... anyone know about that? i'm sure i could find out in 3.4 seconds but i'm really lazy.

I know it's been more than a year since the last person posted on this board, but here goes:

Yes, David (Spade) and John (Goodman) returned as Kusco and Pacha, though they weren't major characters like they were in the original film.
