Okay let us all remember that this is a movie and not a documentary. Yes there might be some parts incorrect but the jest of the whole movie is to show what a MAN he was and where he came from to get on top. If you can not view this movie with an open mind and see the MAN and appreciate him, then I suggest you do not watch it. I know what I am talking about because I was an extra for 6 days of shooting and it was AWESOME. I am also his cousin. This movie will be one of the biggest of the year when it is released. The actors, directors, producers, background artist, hair and make-up people, wardrobe, interns, electricans, sound people just everyone that had a hand in this movie kept the image of Dale in the highest regard and his image will not be tarnished by this movie. Everyone is afraid that it will not be true to every second of his life from the time he was a little boy to the end, and let's be realistic it can not be made that way, but I can reassure you that it is just a movie to show the image of a GREAT MAN and how hard it was for him to make it to the top like he did. I am very proud that I got to be in the movie and very proud to be his cousin. I stand behind this movie and Barry Pepper, he did a FANTASTIC job as Dale. You just want believe it when you see it. Wait to you see the little boy that played Dale when he was little. That little fellow is from Columbia, SC and he is simple the cutest and the best to be that age I have ever seen.
