The man played Dale Earnhardt very well in my eyes. His fluidity was well timed and gave an outstanding performance. He has made some really bad movies(battlefield earth) but also has made some other great ones like Saving Pvt. Ryan and of course his best supporting role as Francis Xavier in the 25th Hour. Also his other TV performance in 61 was also outstanding.
Keep it up Barry but please choose your roles more wisely.
Don't forget Knockaround Guys...he was great in that movie. I hate NASCAR but my dad is a big fanatic so I know some stuff but I thought this was a pretty good movie. Barry Pepper looked just like Dale in some scenes the resemblance is scary.
You remember that short-lived sitcom "Fish"? They should have put that on before CHiP's. (FG)
I agree that he's so underrated he deserves some credit for some great performances, my favourite being in The Snow Walker- brilliance on a screen.
(I do also agree that Battlefield Earth was complete crap but hopefully he's learnt his lesson!)
