Outdid themselves
it seems EA outdid themselves on this game, SSX on tour just wasn't as good to me, i keep going back to SSX3 (one of my all time faves)...what are you guys' thoughts?

I haven't played SSX On Tour yet, but most of the people that I know who've played it say the same thing. Perhaps if they had done the skiing stuff a bit better they wouldn't knock it as much, but...

I agree, the skiing was cool...but to me just wasn't enough to save it, it's still fun and okay to play, i just prefer SSX 3...

I bought SSX on Tour last night. It's good, but SSX 3 is still the best in the series. The skiing stuff is cool, but there isn't enough tricks and I miss the whole "uber mode" thing. I like how the mountain is a lot bigger and there's more stuff to explore, but it's still got the same problems as the one in SSX 3.
Some stuff that I didn't like is how your created character is stuck with either skis or a snowboard forever (unless I just haven't gotten that far in the game), and that customization seems to be a pain. I liked the customization that they had in SSX 3; I actually made Mac look like me. This one...I can't make anything close.
If they make the sequel a mixture of SSX 3 and SSX on Tour, it'll be the best one in the series.
