Yes, Quill the puppy is the same dog as Quill the adult dog, and he was actually trained as a Guide Dog. Quill in his old age is a different dog, though.
they shouldnt have taken Quill away from his owner, just because he couldnt be worked every day. i realise different programs have reposession rules, but all the ones i know of here i the united states allow you to keep the dog after a certain length of time/ quill should have been allowed to stay with his owners family,instead of doing nothing at the trainig centre till he was about to die. i cried so much when i saw this...i lost my own guide dog almot 3 years ago, and it still hurts just as much.
