Currently in pre-production.

An official sequel Jubei ninpucho 2 is slated to be released in 2006 and is classed as in production. The film is also written and directed by Yoshiaki Kawajiri and will most likely be released in the west as Ninja Scroll 2.

I'm posting this here cuz it didn't seem fit for the animation board filled with disney movies. Does anyone know anything more about this project or seen any trailers on any manga dvds that are out??

I actually made a similar topic to this in the original Ninja Scroll IMDB forum. Apart from that information you've displayed, I have heard no more about it, and therefore I am dubiously assuming that it's speculation and has little substance.

You have just listed all available information about the movie right now. Unless you can read Japanese, i think when we get more information in the west, you will know just as soon as anyone else.

uhhhhh yeah thanks for that heads up "you will know just as soon as anyone else." i pretty much figured that much since it's been almost 2 years that i started this does-anyone-know-about-this-movie-thread...and i still havent heard or seen anything yet.
