Sean Connery in Macbeth

I understand that this was part of the National School Telecasts of the CBC. It was shown again on the CBC last Thanksgiving. If anybody has any ideas about how to get a copy of it or where else it may being televised, please let me know.

Maybe it doesn't exist anymore. But if it does, I would be also very interested in a copy.

Ha ha Telly Savalas is in this adaptation!

It's available now on DVD as "Great Cinema: 10 Films TGG. I got mine at Sam's Club in Tupelo, Mississippi, for $4.88 plus tax.

Yes, I just got it in that collection, too and am watching it now.

Sean Connery is EXTREMELY natural speaking Shakespeare! I'm impressed; I totally believe him in this part. Zoe Caldwell has an intelligent interpretation of Lady M, though she's a little stagey.

I wish all the adaptations of this play didn't use voice-overs for most of the monologues. It never works and just zaps the energy.
