Favourite Scene

My favuorite seen was whent hat one dude asks the main guy "whats your religion?" and he responds "My religion is music."
And he lsitened to awsome spanish techno music or watever, but ya i thot that was meaningful, as i sort of see that the music contrasted the epic of his adventurte, or even his life

i want to get my hands on the soundtrack hardcore!!!!!!!!

AND ONE MORE THING... cANADA is the gayest freaking country holy crap!!!! WTF!!!! they DO NOT... i repeat.. DO NOT have Exils at Blockbuster!!! if that doesnt amke one go postal.. .just what else is there left that would.
i jsut saw the movie on TMN channel, but now im probably gonna order it or somtihng cuz i alredy tried to downlaod it but the subtitles are gay, or maybe ill be lucky enough for blockbuster to get it tomoro for no reason.
Anyways i thot that this movie was really good, an awsome sense of adventure, adnit it fully justifies my reasons for bringing my walkman with me wen i travel to Europe (Reprezent Romania) Cuz my fredns are all like your gay for bringing it with you .. but for no reason

anyways, ya, definitly one of my favourite movies... k bye

Where to begin...?

Well, the reason that they don't have it at Blockbuster is because Blockbuster doesn't want to spend the money on an expensive DVD that very few people will rent. It's not because of the Canadian Government or anything. What would Canada have to do with it? Do you blurt out comments like these in front of your peers and then feel really embarassed when they reply with a blank stare?

And you saw it on TMN, which is a CANADIAN STATION. How "gay" of Canada.

But to answer your irrelevant question, I really enjoyed the ten minute freek-folk / *beep* (for some reason IMDB censored the correct spelling of 'freek') scene at the end.

That ten minute climactic scene near the end is one take!! I noticed that upon a second viewing and I have to say it is THE most impressive single take I have ever seen!!!!!!

The "Making of" DVD extra shows the aftermath of that scene and it is very revealing!!! Total and very real intensity!!!

Brilliant!!!!!

Dude, I just rented this movie from Blockbuster in Vancouver (Kitsilano). But there is no extra section on the DVD that other posters refer to.

um, i rented this movie from blockbuster in canada. and what's up with the gay-bashing? so irrelevant.
i agree with you on the soundtrack -- it's fantastic! my favourite scene is the one in the orchard. such a fresh and honest sex scene, it made me laugh, but still turned me on. the chemistry between the two main actors was palpable, but not in a cheesy way. i believed they were in love even when they fought.

I loved the scene that he goes to his parent’s house, in Algiers, and when he is confronted with his father on a picture he starts to cry... It might sound a little cheesy, but I liked it because it felt so real... almost like it really was his father

To all

I believe this is a deep movie. It explores the different dimension of the human spirit, with an open perspective of it. What I most appreciate is the fact that the film is based on human feelings and what drives us. The more I see films like this one, the more I’m convinced that International films are providing messages that “Hollywood” films no longer provide.

My favorite scene is the one where the main characters are making love while eating fruits and leaves, jajaja. It’s fantastic and so is the music.

Goodbye film lovers

There are lots of great moments. Just edging ahead is the crazy dance Naima does in the morning when she wakes to find her and Zano alone after the gypsies left.

I loved the scene with the mother blessing her baby after it had been swaddled and during the fruit picking when Zano gives his headphones to the African guy so he can enjoy the music.

Keep silent unless what you are going to say is more important than silence.
