I just watched it

That trance scene was the most intense things I have ever witnessed. I could feel the moment's power all over me even though I was watching it from my computer. I couldn't even begin to imagine what the actors felt. I wish I could feel it for myself. You could tell it was this incredible cathartic release for Lubna Azabel. I literally felt changed after watching that scene. The way the camera was moving, as well. You were right in the action, swirling to the music along with the people involved. That scene is hands down the most breathtaking moment I have and will have ever watched.

Just by the fact of what you wrote in the last sentence it is obvious that there is little or none at all brain in your scull (you would need an explanation as to why but everyone else will understand). Also the music in this movie is coincidental, mixed with moaning more than anything else. Do not post if you have nothing coherent and well thought to say, ok? Now Beat it!

Scull: an oar mounted on a fulcrum at the stern of a small boat and moved from side to side to propel the boat forward

Seeing as how I don't own any oars, you're right. I guess I wouldn't have any brains in my scull.

Dearest, this world is already full of so many *beep* why do you feel the need to be just one more?

cokoholicar, i occasionally read the posts of films that i enjoy, but you are the first person to actually make me write something. After watching exiles, i felt close to this earth for the first time in a while, and that realisation made me happy. and then i read your post - and it made my blood boil, just thinking of how rude and insecure you must be to write what you did.

retidahling, im glad you enjoyed that last scene.

peace.

This cokoholicar subject has serious issues. Anyone who doesn´t see the quality of this movie, and attacks those who enjoyed it, need to rethink their life...It´s a very realistic movie, very different from those big hollywood productions that provides us massive amounts of fantasy.

My dvd doesn't have the feature 'making of' that others have referred to and I would love to know how the scene was agreed, i.e. with the other participants and musicians who I'm assuming are not actors. Also the effect on Azabal and Duris both during and its aftermath.

I found it amazing too but I felt overwhelmed with the thought of being in that and felt sad as I doubt I could let go and just go with the feeling and rhythm.

Keep silent unless what you are going to say is more important than silence.
