I missed some of this movie and was wondering how "Luke" Corey survived Alex mating with him? Also what happened to Alex?
Constance mentions something about love, and romance, and slowing the mating or something. I guess because he cared about Alex so much, caused him to survive somehow. It doesn't mention anything of him reproducing though. After the end of the original, Corey says he woke up in the hospital. Movie doesn't say what happened to Alex.
